| This can be categorized as a moderately difficult trek as the ascent is steep up to the Pass. From the top one gets beautiful view. of peaks of Central Lahaul and close view of two peaks, namely, Deo Tibba (6001 m) and Indrasan (6221 m). Allow 9 days. | ||||||||||||

| Day-1 | Manali-Settan (2050m), 11 kms On foot. One comes across good stiff jungles along the route. Visit the village. |

| Day-2 | Settan-Panduropa, 8 kms On foot. Chhika is situated below the Hamta Pass. Camp site is available on the fight bank of the .Hamta nullah and near Khrei nullah. |

| Day-3 | Panduropa-Chhika (3000m), 6 kms On foot. This 4268 m high pass remains open between May and September. This pass is not as windy as the Rohtang pass. Camping ground is available below the Hamta pass on the other side in the Lahaul valley. |

| Day-4 | Chhika-Hamta, 10 kms On foot. Steep climb down. Ford a side nullah. At Chhatru one can see the ruins of old village ravaged by the fury of fiver Chandra. PWD rest house and camping ground available. |

| Day-5 | Hamta-Chhatru (3360 m), 10 kms On foot. Rather an easy walk along the fight bank of river Chandra. The scenery resembles moonscape. It is desolate and dry. At Gramphu, 5 kms short of Khoksar one meets the metalled road. |

| Day-6 | Khoksar-Sissu (3120 m), 14 kms On foot. Along the right bank of the river. The valley flattens out at Sissu and appears strikingly green. Visit the waterfall on the left bank and the temple of Lord Ghepan, the supreme deity of Lahaul. Also visit two fountain slabs, one lying near the bridge and the other near the temple. There is a PWD rest house at Sissu. Permit obtainable at Khoksar. |

| Day-7 | Sissu-Gondhla (3160 m),12 kms On foot. Along the right bank of the river, one can see beautiful precipices opposite Gondhla. PWD rest house available here. Visit Tower of Gondhla and rock carvings near the Govt. School at Gondhla. |

| Day-8 | Gondhla-Keylong (3156 m),18 kms On foot. Upto Tandi follow
the road. Tandi is the confluence of rivers Chandra and Bhaga. From Tandi follow the right
bank of river Bhaga. |
